The project was the winning entry to a design competition at Terre Bleu Lavender Farm outside Guelph, Ontario for their Sculpture Garden. The project features three circular bands, each free to rotate inside of one another centred by a mechanical flower which blooms and closes in a nyctinastic rhythm as the rings rotate. The three circular bands are detailed in patterns of soldered copper wire each representing key vehicles in the process of growth, life, and death of vegetation.
